Hypnotherapy can be a fast and effective way to make positive changes in your life. During a session, specific techniques will be used to help you relax and gain access to your subconscious mind and higher self, and to be more open to suggestion. While in trance, you will most likely experience deep relaxation, and will become more focused and in a heightened state of awareness. You will know what is going on around you, and will be in a position to make your own choices. The goal is to make healing choices that will create positive changes in your life. With hypnotherapy vs. hypnosis, you will be involved in the process by responding to questions during the session, rather than only listening to the hypnotist or a hypnosis tape.
We are all born with intuition, but as we grow older we often become more logical and we use our intuition less and less. By tapping into these innate intuitive abilities, we create a better balance between our logical and intuitive self. By doing this we begin to make decisions in our lives that are more aligned with what truly makes our heart sing. I offer intuitive classes and counseling to those who are interested in living their lives in a more balanced way.
EFT (emotional freedom technique, also called tapping)
EFT is an energy therapy technique that provides emotional and physical relief. It is easy to learn and safe to use. You will simply use your fingertips to tap on acupressure points while you say specific phrases that acknowledge the problem and create self-acceptance. EFT is based on the premise that “the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.” Tapping helps release the underlying emotional factors contributing to a problem, and removes energy blocks. EFT is renowned for releasing chronic fears, trauma, phobias and unwanted patterns of behavior, it can help with cravings and reduce pain. Reiki is a gentle, natural, and safe technique that is relaxing, restorative, and balancing. Reiki treats the whole person including body, mind, emotions, and spirit. You will remain clothed during a Reiki session, while l lightly place my hands on or above your head and body. Life force energy will be channeled through my hands and you will draw the amount of energy you need. When your life force energy is high, you are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki healing helps balance your energy system and enhances your overall wellbeing.
Sandtray healing is an alternative to hypnotherapy, used for both children and adults, especially those who find it challenging to "let go" into trance. Doing healing work in the sand provides a safe and protected space to help bring issues to the forefront and gain access to answers, ultimately leading to self-healing. During a sandtray session you will create a scene in a small sandbox, by placing miniature figurines in the sand, resulting in a visual presentation of what is going on in your world. "Playing" in the sand, is also a wonderful way to work with and interpret your dreams.
